The purpose of the Pope PTO is to enhance and support the educational experience of each student at Pope Elementary, to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parent involvement, to support a safe learning environment for children, staff, educators and volunteers, and to improve the overall environment at Pope Elementary through volunteer and financial support.

The primary objective of the Pope PTO is to enrich the educational and growth experiences for the children attending Pope Elementary School.  This may be done through well-planned programs of an educational nature, such as cultural arts activities or scientific presentations.  Through PTO fundraising, this objective may also be met by providing technology, books, landscaping, and/or playground equipment.  Supporting the administration, as well as the teachers and staff of the school, with the talents and resources of our PTO members, or by other individuals who have the students' best interests in mind, is also a part of this primary objective.
